This week we're making Christmas ornaments to decorate a tree in a local bank. I gave the first graders these cute elves from The Small Object. I also gave them markers, crayons, paper scraps galore and even fabric scraps. I love seing the variety that they came up with. I also loved how quickly and quietly they went to work. They all really got into this project and they all did their own thing.

You know that almost every post you put here makes me cry. I wish you were my kids teacher. You are about the best art teacher I have ever seen. Children's creative expression is the best. I love how you are opening so many doors for creative expression for them. I am so proud of you!!
